We aim to support local agriculture and increase food security in the community.

Natural

practices

Gunnison Gardens uses all-natural farming methods to conserve and enhance the soil.

Gunnison Gardens grows cold-hardy vegetables, fruits, poultry, and eggs without the use of artificial chemicals, herbicides, or pesticides.  Our food tastes better, and is better for you.  By nurturing our soil, we nourish the plants and animals that provide the sustenance we need to live, play, and enjoy life in the Gunnison Valley.

Sue believes that local food production is key to creating a resilient and secure future in the Gunnison Valley—and the world.

You have a role to play too...

Our Mission

To provide the community with delicious, nutritious, and affordable food grown using sustainable practices.

A Happy Farm

We start hundreds of hearty vegetable varieties in our local greenhouse every spring, ensuring they thrive in the challenging climate.

Our hens are free to roam in grassy pastures where they feast on insects and worms, a natural source of protein.
